Sizing Guide
Measure with precision. Wear with confidence. Forever.
Your measurements are the foundation of every BeChameleon suit. Take your time, follow each step carefully, and your profile will be stored permanently — ready for every future order.
◆ Before You Begin
Three Rules for Perfect Measurements
Follow these principles before taking any measurement. Accuracy here means perfection in your suit — every time.
Use a Tailor's Tape
Always use a soft, flexible measuring tape. Keep it snug against the body — not tight, not loose. A rigid ruler will give inaccurate results.
Wear Minimal Clothing
Measure over a fitted shirt or underwear only. Never over a jacket or thick layers — your suit is built to your body, not your clothing.
Ask for Help
Have someone assist you. Back width, shoulder span, and sleeve length are nearly impossible to measure accurately alone. Two people, one perfect suit.
◆ The Measurements
Eight Measurements. One Perfect Suit.
Each measurement plays a critical role in how your suit is constructed. Take each one carefully and record it in centimetres.
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, directly under your arms. Keep the tape horizontal and parallel to the floor. Breathe normally — do not expand your chest.
Keep tape horizontalShoulders
Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the other, straight across the back. This is one of the most critical measurements — it determines the entire silhouette of your jacket.
Across the back onlyWaist
Measure around your natural waist — the narrowest part of your torso, just above the hip bone. Stand naturally and do not suck in your stomach.
Natural waist, not belt lineHips & Seat
Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, approximately 20cm below your natural waist. Keep the tape level all the way around.
Fullest part of seatSleeve Length
With your arm slightly bent, measure from the top of your shoulder seam down to your wrist bone. A slight bend in the arm gives the most accurate result for jacket sleeves.
Shoulder to wrist boneTrouser Inseam
Measure from the crotch seam down the inside of your leg to your ankle. Stand straight with feet slightly apart. This determines the length of your trousers.
Crotch to ankleTrouser Outseam
Measure from your natural waist down the outside of your leg to your ankle. This measurement works together with the inseam to ensure perfect trouser proportions.
Waist to ankle, outside legHeight & Weight
Include your height in centimetres and your current weight in kilograms. These help our tailors in Thailand verify proportions and make final adjustments to your profile.
